Yes, there is a drop in short sales – %20 – banks to blame!
Yes, there is a drop in Foreclosures/REOs – %21 – banks to blame!
Yes, there is a drop OVERALL – %27 – WHO to blame???
People are holding them down and wait when Zuckerberg or someone from him will come wth “SWEET” price offer?
Might be…

Call it “Zuck effect”, or something else but the inventory drop is OBVIOUS!
And, by the way, in my opinion – I am not sure that %27 of homeowners might wait so long to sell it…
And another part, if %27 of people will take their savings from the bank parctically at once – what is going happen with the bank? It will collapse and create panic… So people will start to pick their savings from another banks.
So that is exactly what happened with inventory in SF.
In my opinion, they are sold – investors, buyers, developers, contractors, buyers from abroad etc…
